Blueberry Açaí Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Good morning everyone! Today I have a super versatile recipe for you all. It contains less than ten simple ingredients, and it can be customized in so many ways. I just posted a granola recipe a few days ago, and it turned out so good that I knew I wanted to use it in a bunch of other recipes. And you know what goes perfect with homemade granola?
Thick and cold smoothie bowls, of course! The thick and creamy texture of the smoothie bowl recipe I’m about to share today pairs perfectly with the crunch of the granola. If you haven’t tried the granola-smoothie combo yet, you definitely should.
Today’s recipe is the perfect blueberry açaí smoothie bowl recipe. It is a super healthy and delicious breakfast or snac option. I love to whip up smoothie bowls after hot summer runs, and this acai smoothie bowl is one of my go-to’s. I love to add all kinds of toppings as well.
Some of my favorite smoothie bowl toppings include:
- Chia Seeds
- Granola
- Dark Chocolate Chips
- Shredded Coconut Flakes
- Fresh Fruit (banana slices, strawberries, blueberries, etc.)
- Nuts (almonds, peanuts, walnuts, etc.)
- Nut/Seed Butters (peanut butter, almond butter, sunflower butter, etc.)
- Shelled Pumpkin Seeds
As you can see, the possibilities for toppings truly are endless. You can top your smoothie bowl with nuts and seeds to make it more filling, or keep the toppings more minimal for a quick and hydrating snack. Now, let’s take a look at the ingredients that you will need to make this delicious blueberry açaí smoothie bowl recipe.
Blueberry Açaí Smoothie Bowl – Ingredients
- Unsweetened Açaí Packet – This is the first ingredient you will need for this recipe. I get mine at Trader Joe’s, as I find that have one of the best prices for unsweetened acai packets. However, I have seen frozen acai packets at most grocery stores in the frozen fruit section. So, this ingredient shouldn’t be too difficult to find.
- Frozen Banana – The frozen banana is the next ingredient you will need for this acai smoothie bowl recipe. I like to freeze my bananas in small chunks. That way, they are easier to blend up in the food processor. The banana adds a lot of sweetness, thickness, and creaminess to this smoothie bowl recipe. Make sure your banana is nice and ripe when you freeze it so that your smoothie bowl turns out as sweet as possible. The riper your banana is, the sweeter it will be.
- Frozen Blueberries – The frozen blueberries add a ton of flavor to this delicious smoothie bowl recipe. I used frozen wild blueberries, but regular frozen blueberries will also work.
- Granola – The granola adds a delicious crunch to the top of this smoothie bowl. You can use whichever kind you’d like. I used my homemade soft baked peanut butter granola.
- Nut Butter – The nut butter adds protein and fat to this smoothie bowl to help keep you satisfied. I used creamy almond butter, and it’s one of my favorite nut butters for smoothie bowls.
- Nut Milk – The nut milk adds creaminess to this smoothie bowl recipe. It also helps aid with blending. I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk, but you can use whichever kind you prefer or enjoy most.

It is a great option for those days when you want to make something fast with just a few ingredients. It is super refreshing and hydrating, which makes it the perfect recipe for hot summer days.
If you aren’t sure where to get the frozen açaí packets, I would suggest checking out Trader Joe’s if you have one near you. The packets are located in the freezer section and come in packs of four. If you don’t live close to a Trader Joe’s, check out the frozen fruit section of your local grocery store and see if you can find the packets there.
Anyway, that’s it for this recipe. If you have any requests for future recipes, you can leave a comment below letting me know what you want to see from me next. As per usual, I will be back with another blog post very soon.
