Preheat the oven to 350° F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
Make a well in the center of the bowl, then add the nut milk, applesauce, peanut butter, and pure maple syrup
Mix the wet ingredients well to combine.
Mix the wet ingredients into the dry to form a smooth muffin batter.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Evenly distribute the batter between six cavities of a lined or greased muffin pan.
Add a few chocolate chips on top of each muffin.
Bake the muffins for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the muffins cool completely before removing them from the pan.
