The best easy soft baked pretzels recipe that is super simple and seasoned with everything but the bagel seasoning!

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup + 3 tbsp whole wheat pastry flour (I used Bob's Red Mill)
  • 1 tsp Truvia Cane Sugar Blend
  • 1/2 packet active dry yeast
  • everything but the bagel seasoning (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (I used unsweetened vanilla)
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat your nut milk to about 100° F so the yeast can be activated (don't warm it too much or you'll kill the yeast).
  • Combine the Truvia blend, nut milk, and yeast in a mixing bowl until mostly dissolved, then set aside for a few minutes so the yeast can activate.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine your two flours thoroughly.
  • Add in your yeast mixture and stir until a thick dough forms.
  • Pour in 1/2 tbsp of the olive oil and mix again thoroughly.
    Pretzel Dough Ball
  • Cover your dough with a towel and let it sit for 30 minutes to rise.
  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Knead your dough with your hands for a few minutes.
  • Split your dough into four equal sized balls and roll them out into long rope shapes.
  • Form them into pretzels and place them on a lined baking sheet.
    Pre Bake
  • Lightly brush the top of each pretzel with the remaining olive oil.
  • Sprinkle each pretzel generously with everything but the bagel seasoning.
    With Seasonings
  • Bake for about 15 minutes.
  • Enjoy them dipped in mustard or your favorite cheese sauce!
