Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries (I used frozen wild blueberries)
  • 1 tbsp creamy almond butter
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon (I used Ceylon cinnamon)
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp nut milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
  • 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add the oats, chia seeds, and cinnamon to a mixing bowl, and mix to combine thoroughly.
  • Add in the nut milk, pure maple syrup, and frozen blueberries, then mix again.
  • Transfer the oat mixture to a mason jar or other lidded container.
  • Screw the lid on tightly, then pop the oatmeal in the refrigerator overnight to thicken and set.
  • When you're ready to enjoy your oats the next morning, transfer them to a serving dish.
  • Top the oats with almond butter and more pure maple syrup to taste.
