9 Kitchen Gadgets I Love

Good morning friends! Today, I want to talk a little bit about some of the kitchen gadgets that I truly love and use regularly. While there are many different gadgets on the market, I don’t feel that most of them are necessary. Plus, many of them are quite pricy.

I try to be very selective and intentional about which kitchen tools I purchase. Thus, I thought it would be fun to share some of the gadgets I have purchased over the years that I feel have been worth the money. While not everyone will need/want the items on this list, I personally get a lot of use out of them. So, the following are nine kitchen gadgets I love.

Top 9 Kitchen Gadgets – #1

The food processor is one of my favorite kitchen tools that I use to make thick smoothie bowls, delicious sauces, and homemade hummus. It’s incredibly powerful and versatile, which is why I love it. Plus, my food processor makes the creamiest homemade banana nice cream, which is one of my favorite vegan summer treats.

The next kitchen gadget on my list is the NutriBullet Blender. I have had mine for years and I can’t say enough good things about it. It is perfect for making smoothies, oat flour, pancake batter, etc. Between this and the food processor, I can make pretty much any dip/spread/sauce/smoothie that I want.

If you are a coffee connoisseur like myself, you might enjoy having a handheld milk frother. I like to make my own coffee drinks at home, and some frothed almond or oat milk is the perfect topping for my lattes. If you enjoy coffee as much as I do (especially lattes), you might also enjoy a handheld frother.

My fourth essential kitchen gadget is a coffee maker. Now, this might not be a necessity for everyone. But for me personally, I can’t go a day without at least one cup of coffee. And if I’m being honest, I drink at least two cups of coffee most days. I use a traditional, no frills coffee pot that cost me $15 at Target. I know some people prefer a Keurig (I have one that I used a lot more often in college than I do now). The point is, if you enjoy coffee as much as I do, a coffee pot of some sort is going to be a necessity in your kitchen.

Baking sheets are another huge essential for me. I use them to roast vegetables, bake tofu, make cookies, veggie burgers, sweet potato fries, and so much more. Again, baking sheets are a super versatile kitchen tool that I get a ton of use out of. I actually bought some Wilton brand ones a few years back and they have held up really well so far.

The next kitchen tool that I use all the time is a rubber scraper. This tool is, in my opinion, extremely underrated. I like to make smoothies, peanut butter, sauces, hummus, etc. at home from scratch. I use my rubber scraper to help everything blend more easily. Plus, when I prep thicker dips and spreads such as hummus, I am able to easily get every last bit transferred to my storage container through the use of my rubber scraper. A silicone rubber scraper is one of those super inexpensive kitchen tools that I think everyone could benefit from having on hand.

The next kitchen gadget that I can’t live without is a good set of pots and pans. Since I do cook at home the majority of the time, I have to have pots and pans to cook my food in. I make things like pasta, soup, tofu scramble, vegan curry, etc. all the time. So, I definitely get my money’s worth out of my nonstick pot & pan set.

In an ideal world, I would make everything at home from scratch. However, I don’t have unlimited time (or energy) every single day to cook foods such as beans, soup, etc. So, a can opener is a must-have for me. Again, this kitchen gadget is quite inexpensive and super useful.

I normally don’t buy the special slicing gadgets (like the pineapple slicer, avocado slicer, cherry pit chomper, and strawberry huller). However, I do love my apple corer. It quickly, easily, and cleanly removes the core from my apples. Since apples are one of my all-time favorite fruits, I eat them all the time. Plus, I bake with them a lot. I find that the apple corer saves me some time and also allows me to make some creative baked goods with the apple slices. So, this is a convenient kitchen gadget that is worth the money for me.

Top 9 Kitchen Gadgets – Final Thoughts

I hope you all enjoyed reading my list of nine kitchen gadgets that I love and use often. While this list is by no means comprehensive, it does have some of my favorite kitchen tools on it. Anyway, that’s it for this post. As per usual, I will be back with more content very soon.
