Whole Wheat Vegan Graham Crackers

Healthy, crunchy vegan graham crackers that make the perfect sweet snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour (I used Bob's Red Mill)
  • 2 tbsp Truvia cane sugar blend
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt (I used Himalayan pink salt)
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp nut milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Mix together the flour, Truvia blend, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the nut milk, coconut oil, and maple syrup.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry, and mix together until a dough forms.
  • Preheat the oven to 375° F.
  • Roll your dough out on a sheet of parchment paper in a thin layer (about 1/16th - 1/8th inch thick).

  • Cut the dough into rectangular graham crackers with a sharp knife or cookie cutter.

  • Poke holes in your crackers with a toothpick to give them a traditional graham cracker look.

  • Transfer your parchment paper containing your graham crackers onto a baking sheet.

  • Bake the graham crackers for 15 - 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Keep a close eye on them so they don't burn. The thicker your crackers are, the longer they will take to bake.
