Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Add the black beans to a large mixing bowl.
Mash the black beans, leaving some beans whole if desired.
Add the mashed sweet potato, and mix well to combine.
Mix in the nutritional yeast seasoning, cumin, garlic powder, dried oregano, and salt to taste.
Add the quick oats, chopped onion, and chopped cilantro, then mix again.
Add the vegetable broth and mix well to combine.
Form the burger mixture into patties that are about 3 - 3.25 inches in diameter and 0.5 inches thick.
Place the patties on a lined or greased baking sheet.
Bake the burger patties for 10 minutes, flip them over, then bake them for another 10 minutes.
Let the burgers cool for a bit, then dig in and enjoy them however you'd like!
