1/2
cup
quick oats
1 1/2
tbsp
vegan vanilla protein powder
(I used Orgain simple creamy vanilla protein powder)
1/2
medium
ripe banana
(thinly sliced)
1/2
cup + 1 tbsp
water
pure maple syrup to taste
vegan whipped cream
(for topping)
Instructions
Add the oats, protein powder, and 1/2 cup of water to a microwave safe bowl.
Mix all ingredients well to combine.
Gently mix in the sliced ripe banana.
Microwave the oatmeal for 60 seconds.
Add in the other tablespoon of water (more as desired for a thinner consistency) as well as pure maple syrup to taste, and mix well to combine.
Transfer the oatmeal to a serving dish.
Top it off with more banana slices and vegan whipped cream.
Dig in and enjoy!
