The best seasoned red potato wedges that are baked in the oven at high heat.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups red potatoes (chopped into wedges)
  • 2 - 3 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • fresh chives (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Wash and chop two cups of red potatoes into wedges
  • Place the potato wedges in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the olive oil and mix with the potatoes to coat them evenly.
  • Add the cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt + pepper to taste.
  • Use clean hands to mix and coat the potatoes evenly in the spices.
  • Spread the potatoes out in a single layer on a lined or greased baking sheet.
  • Pop the potato wedges into the oven to bake for about 40 minutes, or until they are soft on the inside (you can bake them longer for a crispier exterior, just watch them closely so they don't burn).
