Oven Roasted Garlic Green Beans

Seasoned, boiled, and oven baked green beans packed with flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups fresh green beans
  • 1 clove fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast seasoning
  • salt to taste (I used Himalayan pink salt)
  • pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Chop the stringy ends off of the green beans, then snap the beans in half if desired to make shorter beans.
  • Add the beans to a large pot and cover with water.
  • Bring the beans to a boil over medium heat, then boil for 15 minutes, or until soft.
  • Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  • Drain and rinse the beans with cold water.
  • Pat dry the beans with a towel.
  • Spread the green beans out in a single layer on a lined/greased baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle on the nutritional yeast seasoning followed by the salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake the green beans for 20 minutes.
  • Pull the green beans out of the oven, add the minced garlic on top of the beans, then pop the green beans back in the oven for 5 - 6 more minutes to cook.
  • Enjoy your green beans fresh and warm!
