Ingredients
  

  • 1 can black beans (1 can = 15.25 oz, drained and rinsed)
  • 1 medium red bell pepper (finely chopped with seeds removed)
  • 1 medium jalapeño pepper  (finely chopped with seeds removed)
  • 1/2 medium avocado (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sweet yellow corn
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 clove fresh garlic (pressed)
  • 1/8 tsp chili powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • juice of 1/2 a lime (freshly squeezed)

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients, except the salt and pepper, to a bowl.
  • Mix all ingredients well to combine.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, as well as additional lime juice if desired.
  • Mix again.
