Ingredients
1
medium
ripe/overripe banana
1 1/2
tbsp
semi-sweet chocolate chips
1
tbsp
roasted peanuts
(finely chopped, can also sub peanut butter)
optional
dash of salt
Instructions
Cut the banana in half crosswise, then cut each half down the middle lengthwise to create four equal banana quarters.
Lay each banana quarter face up on a plate.
Melt the chocolate chips in 30 second intervals in the microwave until the chocolate is smooth and spreadable.
Spread the melted chocolate evenly across the tops of the four banana quarters.
Sprinkle each banana quarter with some of the roasted peanuts (or spread on some of the peanut butter).
Add an optional dash of salt on top of each banana boat.
Refrigerate the banana boats for a few minutes to allow the chocolate to harden, or enjoy them immediately while the chocolate is still warm.
