Ingredients
1/2
cup
whole wheat pastry flour
(I used Bob's Red Mill)
1/2
cup
oat flour
(I used Bob's Red Mill)

flax egg
(see note below recipe for linked tutorial if you don't know how to make a flax egg)

tbsp
mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
(I used Enjoy Life Minis)

tsp
baking powder
1/4
cup
water

tbsp
unsweetened applesauce
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350° F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients, except the chocolate chips.
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the flax egg, water, and applesauce, and mix thoroughly.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, and mix to combine.
Gently fold in the miniature chocolate chips.
Distribute batter evenly between the six cavities of your donut/bagel pan.
Bake for about 17 - 18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Enjoy your bagels fresh and warm. I love topping mine with peanut butter!
