quick oats

semi-sweet chocolate chips
(I used mini chocolate chips)

cocoa powder
(I used Hershey's special dark)
1/4
cup + 1 tbsp
nut milk
(I used unsweetened cashew milk)

tbsp
unsweetened applesauce
1
tsp
pure maple syrup
(plus more for topping)
nut butter
(optional, for topping)
Instructions
Add the oats and cocoa powder to a microwave safe dish.
Mix the dry ingredients well to combine.
Add the nut milk, applesauce and pure maple syrup, then mix again.
Microwave the oatmeal for 90 seconds.
Give the oatmeal a good stir.
Top the oatmeal with optional nut butter of choice, the chocolate chips, and a drizzle of pure maple syrup.
Dig in and enjoy!
