Healthy superfood granola that is baked in the oven and packed with peanut butter flavor.

- 1/2 cup quinoa
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp walnuts (finely chopped)
- 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 325° F.
Mix all dry ingredients together.
In a separate bowl, mix all wet ingredients together.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix to combine thoroughly.
Firmly press the granola mixture onto a greased or lined baking sheet in a thin, even layer.
Bake the granola for about 13 - 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let the granola cool for a few minutes.
Dig in and enjoy!
