5 Easy Vegan Road Trip Snacks
Good morning friends! Today, I am so excited to share five awesome snacks that you can easily pack up and take with you to school, work, events, or on road trips!
It’s no secret that traveling in a car for a long period of time can be tiring. However, if you keep some snacks with you, you will probably enjoy your trip a lot more, no matter where you are headed. Luckily, I have a few of my favorite road trip snacks to share with all of you today (five to be exact). Best of all, they are delicious and vegan. Now, let’s dive right into the list.
5 Easy Vegan Road Trip Snacks – #1
1. No Cow Protein Bars
I first tried the No Cow brand protein bars a few years back, and I really enjoyed them. Now, I like to buy them when I am traveling by car or plain. They have a ton of different flavors and a chewy texture that I really enjoy. I also like that they are high in protein. Some of my favorite flavors include birthday cake, chocolate fudge brownie, and sticky cinnamon roll. But, my all-time favorite flavor is the chocolate glazed donut one.
While the No Cow Bar packaging and formula have changed slightly over the years, I still really enjoy the taste of them. I will say that the bars are a bit dry, so I like to have a glass (or bottle) of water on hand to sip while I eat my protein bar. Overall, I highly recommend these protein bars for a quick and easy on the go snack.

2. Popcorn
Popcorn is another road trip snack that I absolutely love. It tastes great and it has a nice crunch. Some of my favorite brands that make vegan popcorn include Skinny Pop (I like the white cheddar one), Lesser Evil (the himalayan gold one is my favorite), and Whole Foods (they make a great olive oil popcorn).

3. Fresh Fruit
I absolutely love fresh fruit. Fortunately, it makes for a great snack. I love to grab an apple, banana, or pack up a bag of grapes before I head out the door. If you haven’t tried freezing your grapes overnight, you definitely should.
Fruit is also one of the most inexpensive road trip snacks on this list. It might not be quite as convenient as the other options I’ve mentioned, but it’s worth the few extra minutes of prep time. So, don’t forget about this sweet snack when you are prepping food for your next road trip or commute.

4. Smart Sweets
If you haven’t tried Smart Sweets before, then you are definitely missing out. They are essentially a lower sugar alternative to traditional gummy candies that you might have had before. The Smart Sweets brand makes sour buddies, sweet fish, and other classic candies. These gummies are sweet, tasty, and super chewy. Many of them are vegan, but a few of them aren’t. So, just be careful to check the label if you are vegan. My personal favorite Smart Sweets at the moment are the peach rings. If you want to pack a sweet treat for your next road trip, then this is the perfect option for you.

5. Larabars
Larabars are another great snack option. As far as granola bars go, they are one of the more budget friendly options. They are made with dates, nuts, and other fruit. However, my favorite flavors are the ones that also have chocolate chips in them :). I love that there are a ton of different flavors to choose from. My personal favorite flavors at the moment are peanut butter cookie and chocolate chip cookie dough.
