Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats (blended into a fine oat flour)
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (I used Bob's Red Mill brand)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 4 medium overripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup nut milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips (I used dark chocolate chunks)
  • 2 tbsp walnuts (finely chopped)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, whole wheat flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Thoroughly mash the bananas with a fork.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, nut milk, and pure maples syrup.
  • Add the wet ingredients into the dry and mix to form a batter.
  • Pour the banana bread mixture into a lined or greased loaf pan.
  • Top the banana bread loaf with the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
  • Bake the banana bread for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the banana bread cool completely before removing it from the pan.
