Ingredients
1
can (15.5 oz)
garbanzo beans
(I used salted)
1/2
tbsp
ground cumin
1
tsp
garlic powder
(or fresh minced garlic to taste)
1/4
cup
water
2
tsp
extra virgin olive oil
(more as desired for thinner consistency)
1/2
tsp
freshly squeezed lemon juice
salt to taste
Instructions
Drain and rinse the garbanzo beans thoroughly.
Add all ingredients, except the salt, to a high speed blender or food processor.
Blend for a minute or two until a smooth and creamy consistency is achieved. Add more olive oil as desired for a thinner consistency.
Add salt to taste.
Dig in and enjoy your hummus with crackers, carrots, or whatever else you'd like!
