- 2 pieces bread
- 1/4 cup berries of choice (I used a mix of frozen blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed meal
- 1 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Combine milk, ground flaxseed meal, and cinnamon thoroughly, then set aside for about 5 minutes.
Grease a pan and turn your stovetop onto medium-low heat.
Pour your flaxseed mixture evenly into a shallow dish that can fit your bread.
Dip each piece of bread into the mixture for a few seconds on both sides, coating it thinly.
Cook each piece of bread for a couple minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Top your French toast with peanut butter, berries, and whatever else you'd like, such as maple syrup or powdered sugar.
